Dear friends and members of BRAIA,
Since the establishment of “Belt & Road” Aerospace Innovation Alliance in April 2017, we have been working together for one and a half years, witness ing the birth and growth of the alliance. As the new year is approaching, on behalf of the Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA) and Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), which initiated BRAIA, the Permanent Secretariat would like to express the sincere gratitude for your supports and contributions to BRAIA’s development in 2018 and wish you all the best in the coming year.
In the past year, with the concerted efforts of all, the alliance has not only successfully organized a variety of student and academic exchanges activities, but also had improved our way of working through BRAIA working seminar and council meeting, structured working mechanisms, formulated regulations, elected standing council members and had new members in, which laid a solid foundation for the systematic and long-term development of the alliance.
Following the accession of North South University, the University of Sydney and Queen Mary University of London, the alliance now has 51 members from 14 countries, including Algeria, Australia, Egypt, Pakistan, Russia, Belgium, France, the United States, Bangladesh, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and China.
With the trust and support of all our members, and holding the idea of creating a platform for international cooperation in the field of aerospace science, technology and applications, and talents development, the alliance planned and organized various activities in 2018.
