63 member unit sof Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA) in 21 countries have been affected by the COVID-19 to different extent.
Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) initiated the alliance in 2017 and also has been acting as the Permanent Secretariat. The president of NPU, Professor Wang Jinsong has issued greeting letters to non-Chinese member units of BRAIA in America, Italy, Spain, Russia, Pakistan, Egypt, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, etc. in order to express the sincere regards and support during this difficult period. These letters have been well responded by alliance members with the great appreciation for NPU's support and positive outlook for future cooperation.
Within the last three years, the alliance have been developing quickly and bringing benefits to the members. Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the Permanent Secretariat Office has organized several online meetings to coordinate the work of this year with members in order to achieve the common development goal. With joint efforts, the alliance are expected to grow further, also with the manifested effect of the Regional Development Centers,to enhance thecooperation in talent cultivation and scientific research, etc.
