The Permanent Secretariat Office of Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA) organized some experts from BRAIA member units, including Politecnico di Milano, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, National University of Sciences and Technology, Fudan University, and Northwestern Polytechnical University to attend a video meeting on the afternoon of July 3rd, 2020.

In the video meeting, staff from BRAIA Permanent Secretariat Office introduced the background of initiating BRAIA Joint Research Projects, and further presented the Proposal on Setting up BRAIA Joint Research Project, including the proposed working mechanism for the BRAIA Joint Research Projects. NPU, as the permanent secretariat of BRAIA, would like to offer financial support as the seed fund for the BRAIA Joint Research Projects, which would be an annual-based budget granted by NPU year by year, in order to encourage more BRAIA member units to take part in the multilateral international cooperation.

Participants discussed the scope of research areas and topics of BRAIA Joint Research Projects. The sharing of IPR generated from BRAIA Joint Research Projects has also been elaborated.
