Recently, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan reported the progress of its cooperation and exchange with Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA) and Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), China—one of BRAIA's initiators, in the latest university publication NUSTIAN. This issue reviewed the university's milestone events and activities from July to December 2019.
In the section of "Highlights", it reported NUST had become BRAIA's first Regional Development Center (South Asia) in September; in "Conferences & Workshops", it reported NUST had hosted BRAIA the 3rd Space Exploration Summer Camp in July; and in "Partnerships for Impact", it reported NPU's President, Prof. Wang Jinsong, had visited Pakistan and met with NUST leaders on academic cooperation and exchange among students and teachers from both sides.

These reports in NUST's university publication demonstrate that BRAIA is regarded as one of the its most important platforms for international cooperation and exchange, reveal the steady progress of cooperation among BRAIA members, and mark BRAIA member's willingness to shoulder more responsibility on BRAIA's growth.
During the difficult time of fighting against COVID-19, the Permanent Secretariat of BRAIA has been keeping close touch with NUST. On hearing that NUST was in need of support to fight against the spread in Pakistan, the PS office in NPU managed to offer a batch of masks to NUST, hoping that BRAIA members will overcome the difficult time hand in hand.
