On January 19th, 2022 NPU held an online meeting with CETYS University in Mexico. Dean of the International Office, Scott Venezia, associate dean of the International Office-Diana Woolfolk,and Distinguished professor-Mariella Remund of CETYS University; director of the Office of International Cooperation Zhang Fuli, deputy director Chen Jun and others attended the meeting. Two parties had a discussion on the construction of the BRAIA Regional Development Center (RDC) at the meeting.

Chen Jun gave a brief introduction to the establishment of BRAIA and the construction concept of the RDC. Scott Venezia said that they have been preparing for it and will submit an application form for the BRAIA RDC recently.It is planned to promote the cooperation between faculties and students by holding multilateral seminars on aerospace and offering professional courses.In addition, CETYS University cooperates closely with aerospace industries. Two sides can promote joint academic research and attract more universities in the Americas to participate in BRAIA through this platform.

Zhang Fuli pointed out that the establishment of the BRAIA RDC at CETYS University is of great significance. Based on the platform,it is hoped that substantive cooperation among BRAIA members can be further strengthened.
