During July 15-21, 2018, the 2nd Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance Space Exploration Summer Camp was held in Qingdao Research Institute of Northwestern Polytechnical University.
Nearly 60 participants from 15 countries including Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Russia, Spain, etc. attended the camp. During the week, participants took part in lectures on aerospace knowledge and interactive activities on traditional Chinese etiquette. Meanwhile, they visited well-known enterprises, experienced marine culture, and competed in a small rocket design and launch contest. Besides, international participants shared their countries’ culture with all participants and thus broaden all members’ horizon.
This summer camp not only equipped participants with technical and cultural knowledge, bus also provided them an opportunity to exchange idea and attain friendship among the Alliance.
This summer camp was planed by the Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance and co-organized by Qingdao Research Institute of NPU.
